The Danger of Spiritual Deception
1. We tend to move toward what is easy and polular (Matthew 7:13-27)
- The way of Christ is hard to follow (Matthew 5:10) and (Luke 9:57-62)
- The way of Christ is Hated by many (Matthew 10:17)
2. We can profess publically what we do not possess personally (Matthew 7:15)
- The way of Christ is always fruitful. (Matthew 7:17)
- The way of Christ is always faithful (Matthew 7:21)
3. We think it's salvation without biblical foundation (Matthew 7:24-27)
- The way of Christ is dependent on His Word. (Matthew 7:21)
- The way of Christ is obedient to His Word. (Matthew 7:26)
